Job summary

AWD Online is seeking an Inventory Manager to own stock accuracy, value and improvement across a multi-site organisation in Leeds. You will provide leadership visibility on inventory and support stock holding decisions.

You will drive stock discipline, minimise excess and obsolete inventory, and deliver robust reporting and improvement activity to enable lean operations across the business.

Qualifications

• Previous relevant experience managing stock across a multi-site business.
• Effective communication and time-management skills.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• A data-driven mindset with reporting
• Experience working cross-functionally with production, quality, engineering and logistics teams.

Responsibilities

• Own national stock accuracy and integrity across the organisation.
• Implement and maintain robust stock counting and audit standards.
• Analyse stock levels, ageing and valuation across divisions.
• Identify overstock, slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
• Investigate the causes of stock inefficiencies and support actions to prevent recurrence.
• Develop clear dashboards and reporting for leadership teams.
• Work closely with Procurement, Finance, Production, Clinical and Branch teams to support stock integrity, regular stock counts and audit activity.
• Support stock rationalisation initiatives and improve branch stock discipline.
• Resolve stock-related queries quickly through cross-functional collaboration.
