Job summary

Sainsbury’s is seeking a Trading Assistant to help run our busy store in Bristol. You’ll stock shelves, assist customers, and support with deliveries while maintaining high standards of store presentation.

You’ll build knowledge of products and promotions to confidently recommend items to customers, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and work flexibly across the store to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Overnight work in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly and welcoming with enthusiasm to help customers.
• Own tasks, take initiative to solve problems.
• Willing to learn across store tasks and use new digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish a variety of items across the store.
• Always ready to serve our customers brilliantly when the store is open, supporting with any questions, and proactively offering help.
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products.
• Helping across the store as needed and supporting with deliveries as required.
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations.
