Job summary

Sainsbury’s in Worcester is looking for a Trading Assistant to help keep shelves stocked and neatly presented. You’ll support customers with questions and use product knowledge to recommend items. The role involves moving stock safely and assisting with deliveries as required.

Rotating shifts in a fast-paced store environment call for reliability, teamwork, and a proactive approach to service. Training and development are available as you grow in the role.

Qualifications

• Friendly, welcoming attitude with genuine enthusiasm for helping customers.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment and thriving in a team.
• Ability to learn about products, services and promotions and make recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish items across the store, keeping our shelves tidy and full of well-presented products.
• Always ready to serve our customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions, and proactively offering help.
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations.
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products.
• Helping across the store as needed and supporting with deliveries as required.
