Job summary

Sainsbury’s is looking for a Trading Assistant to help stock shelves, assist customers, and keep the store clean and well-presented. You’ll unload stock from the warehouse using roll cages up to 15kg and replenish a variety of items across the store.

This role suits energetic, night-owl workers who thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and enjoy teamwork. Training will cover product knowledge, promotions, and how to use digital tools to serve customers at a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish items across the store
• Always ready to serve customers and proactively help with questions
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
• Help across the store as needed and support with deliveries
• Build knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations
