Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is recruiting a Stock Controller at Markham Vale on a full-time permanent basis. The role operates 4 on 4 off days, 6am–6pm, and carries a salary of £29,535 per annum.

You will protect stock integrity in the warehouse, using strong attention to detail and WMS knowledge to liaise with the team on receipts, despatches, and stock checks. The ideal candidate will have stock control experience, be a team player with good communication and problem-solving skills,

Qualifications

• Stock control experience.
• High level of detail.
• Ability to manage own time to meet daily targets efficiently and effectively.
• Team player who can also work on own initiative.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
• PC literate in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience of Autostore WMS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with management and operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads.
• Manage, in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team, the problem pallet area.
• Accurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity ensuring all checks are completed first.
• Hold and Release process.
• Provide stock traceability information as and when required for recalls etc.
• Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments.
• Completion of daily reports required on a daily and weekly basis.
• Managing multi client and multi customer queries.
• Assist Stock Management with investigations.
• Any additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control, email queries and samples.
