Job summary

JDP is seeking a proactive Stock Controller to join our Supply Chain team in Nottingham. The role focuses on ensuring branches have the right stock at the right time, managing replenishment and transfer processes, and maintaining accurate records across our network.

The successful candidate will analyse data, support stock performance, and collaborate with suppliers and branches in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to accuracy and strong organisational skills are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Manage Slim4 stock replenishment to maintain optimal levels
• Process branch and supplier orders accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate internal stock transfers between branches
• Maintain accurate stock records and system information
• Report on stock checks, analyze results and identify discrepancies
• Manage slow-moving and excess stock
• Respond to branch and supplier queries professionally and promptly
• Collaborate with Supply Chain colleagues to share product and market knowledge
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team objectives
