Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Stock Controller / Admin Support for our Corby site. The role focuses on maintaining stock data integrity within the Warehouse Management System and supporting administrative tasks to ensure accurate reporting and efficient stock flow.

You will manage stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues promptly. A meticulous approach to data and flexibility to cover shifts is essential.

• Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and stock control processes.
• Strong numerical capability and high analytical precision.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Solid problem-solving skills for inventory discrepancies.
• Ability to work in a team and take initiative.
• Good time management and prioritisation under deadlines.
• Flexible to cover shifts for admin support as required.

Responsibilities

• WMS maintenance and daily system control, with audit-able adjustments.
• Plan and oversee regular stock takes, scheduled counts, and perpetual inventories.
• Maintain accurate pallet controls for efficient stock flow across the site.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and conduct quality checks; report wastage.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational and inventory reports.
• Resolve stock inquiries from customers, clients, and suppliers promptly.
