Job summary

Pets at Home Limited is seeking a Stock Controller to ensure smooth warehouse operations from receipt to distribution, including stock accuracy, replenishment, and dispatch readiness. The role operates in a 24/7 multi-site environment and requires experience in pick/pack and use of a stock control system.

You will manage stock levels, coordinate transport, and handle Brexit-related orders and documentation, while using JDA and standard IT tools to prepare accurate reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in pick, pack and dispatch operations.
• Experience in a 24/7 multi-site distribution environment.
• Proficient IT skills - Word and Excel; ability to draft reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transport to deliver goods and maintain stock accuracy.
• Control Brexit store orders and documentation.
• Manage stock levels and placement using the JDA system.
• Follow internal stock control processes in the Distribution Centre.
• Maximise stock availability for stores in saleable condition.
• Assist in maintaining the warehouse stock file through perpetual inventory counts.
• Improve productivity by maintaining pick paths and space utilisation.
• Maintain the physical inventory in line with system-driven PI adjustments.
• Monitor inbound POs to close orders within 48 hours and resolve discrepancies.
