Job summary

IPL Schoeller in Wolverhampton is seeking a Stock Controller to oversee the exchange of raw materials and finished goods between production and the warehouse. The role operates on a Continental shift pattern with early mornings and nights.

You will label, count, log stock movements, operate FLT/MHE, maintain GMP standards, and support with general warehouse duties while ensuring accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years FLT experience (Reach and Counterbalance)
• 12 months stock management experience

Responsibilities

• Exchange raw materials and finished goods between production and warehouse
• Ensure all finished goods are labelled and counted on entry to the warehouse
• Operate forklift to move finished goods within designated areas
• Prepare raw materials and packaging for production and log exchanges
• Track scrap and regrind entering and leaving the warehouse
• Maintain accurate stock movement logs and GMP compliance
• Keep warehouse area tidy and compliant with H&S and GMP guidelines
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required
• Carry out daily FLT and MHE checks
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure service delivery

The role

To ensure the efficient and accurate exchange of raw materials and finished goods between the production and warehouse team. Role is based at our Wolverhampton site and is on a Continental Shift Pattern: 2 days, 0645am – 1900pm and 2 nights 1845pm – 0700am.

As a Stock Controller At IPL Schoeller You Will

• Being responsible for the exchange of raw materials and finished goods between production and warehouse
• Ensuring all finished goods are accurately labelled and counted when entering the warehouse
• Using a forklift to manoeuvrer finished goods in designated area
• Preparing raw material and packaging required for production is readily available and logged at point of exchange
• Tracking the amount of scrap entering the warehouse from production
• Logging the generation and consumption of regrind that enters and leaves the warehouse
• Ensuring all HOLD products are clearly identified and placed in designated area
• Producing daily stock movement log
• Responsible for ensuring warehouse area is tidy and presentable in line with company H&S and GMP guidelines
• Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
• Carrying out daily FLT and MHE checks
• The Stock Controller must adhere to GMP and familiar with stock movement accuracy report.
