Job Title: Stock and Despatch Controller

Our client, a leader in the defence and security sector, is seeking a Stock and Despatch Controller to join their team in Newport. This is a permanent role offering a unique opportunity to work on groundbreaking products and applications within the security and communications industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Goods Inwards and Receipting of Stock, including visual quality inspection
2. Locating Stock and conducting stock checks
3. Maintaining accurate stock information on internal systems
4. General picking and packing duties
5. Managing outbound shipping and collections
6. Collaborating with partner logistics companies
7. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of stock areas
8. Supporting the production team with equipment maintenance

Job Requirements:

1. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
2. Good understanding of Office 365
3. Awareness of health and safety regulations
4. Eligibility to obtain a Security Clearance (SC)
5. Experience in stores, materials, and stock control is preferred
