Job summary

GI Group Main Account in Southampton is seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join our warehouse team. The role involves managing stock levels, conducting stock checks, and recording data accurately while coordinating with Production, Logistics and Sales.

You must hold a Counterbalance FLT licence and a full UK driving licence. The position offers Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00 hours and weekly pay, with long-term opportunities for the right candidate and a 10% Pure Gym discount.

Qualifications

• Previous stock control experience is essential.
• Counterbalance FLT licence required.

• Experience with ERP and MES systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor stock levels.
• Complete stock checks and record data accurately.
• Work closely with Production and Warehouse teams.
• Ensure stock is rotated correctly and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and organisation.
• Operate Counterbalance FLT.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:00 (40 hours per week)

£13.00 per hour (must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and a full UK driving licence)

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Stock Controller to join a well-established company in Southampton.

The Stock Controller will liaise directly with Production (stock level enquiries), Logistics, Purchasing, Planning and Sales.

A Counterbalance FLT licence and a driving licence are required.
