Job summary

Marshalls plc is seeking a Stock Controller to join our Manufacturing team at Pollington. You will manage finished goods and raw materials, conduct cycle counts and maintain batch control procedures while handling related administration and audits.

Ideal candidates have experience in a medium/large manufacturing setting, strong IT skills (Excel/Word), and good numeracy plus effective written English. CPIM is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a medium/large manufacturing operation.
• Good IT skills with experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• A good level of numeracy.
• Excellent communication skills and a good level of written English.
• A professional qualification such as CPIM would be advantageous but not essential.
• Experience of ERP/MRP systems would also be desirable but we can provide training.

Responsibilities

• Take control of the finished goods and/or raw materials for the site.
• Ensure cycle counts are conducted and that all supporting documentation is maintained and up to date.
• Maintain batch control procedures and oversee related administration while investigating discrepancies.
• Support site based internal/external audits.

We're now looking for a Stock Controller to join our Manufacturing team at Pollington.

So what's the mission?

This is a varied role where you’ll take control of the finished goods and/or raw materials for the site. You’ll ensure cycle counts are conducted and that all supporting documentation is maintained and kept up to date. Highly organised, you’ll be able to maintain batch control procedures and oversee the related administration whilst fully investigating any discrepancies.You’ll also support site based internal/external audits.
