Job summary

Marshalls plc in Burton-on-Trent is hiring an Operations Team Member. You will operate a range of manual and semi-automated machinery on a busy manufacturing site and assist with general site duties.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role with a 45-hour week, offering a competitive salary of £31,473 plus benefits. Forklift experience is desirable but not essential; training may be provided.

• Experience in manufacturing/production environments.
• Experience operating semi-automated machinery or robotics (desirable).
• Basic computer skills (preferred).
• Current FLT licence (preferred).
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Commitment to health, safety and quality standards.

Salary: £31,473 + Benefits
Shifts: Monday - Friday (45 hours per week) / Single Shift (6am - 3pm)

We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Operations Team Member to join our well-established team in Burton-on-Trent.

So, what's the mission?

You'll operate a variety of manual and semi-automated machinery, use hand-powered tools, and, where qualified, operate mobile plant such as Forklift Trucks to move materials and finished products safely around the site. You'll also support the wider team with general site upkeep, including housekeeping, cleaning, painting, and other maintenance tasks to help maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
