Stock Controller

Responsibilities

• Working to a fast moving schedule of orders and deliveries
• Receiving, inspecting and confirming supply quality and accuracy
• Undertaking stock counts
• Monitoring and reporting to management on stock levels
• Helping to maintain internal stores and production stock flows
• Maintaining suitable records of orders, deliveries and stock flows
• Offloading delivery vehicles
• Carrying out priority deliveries and pick-ups
• Assisting the sleeving team
• Following company housekeeping, health and safety requirements

Who you are / Qualifications

You will have at least 1 year’s relevant experience as a stock controller, good communicator, with strong numeracy skills, ability to work to accuracy and an excellent approach to customer service and service delivery. You will also be able to work in an organised, safe and flexible manner and have good people & IT skills. Experience driving a van and/or a forklift licence would also be advantageous.

Your job will be varied and typical activities, as part of a wider team, will include:

• Receiving, inspecting and confirming supply quality and accuracy
• Undertaking stock counts
• Maintaining suitable records of orders, deliveries and stock flows
