Stock Controller| Bury Distribution Centre (BL9)

YOU WILL
- Safety above all else, you are responsible for your own and others safety, and help to deliver site wide EHS objectives
- Lead or collaborate on potentially complex projects, including presenting information, stakeholder management, and project planning
- Analyse complex data, to provide insights, understand problems and identify opportunities
- General responsibility, work towards an accurate stock file through promoting and ensuring stock discipline on goods receipt, put-away, replenishment and picking
- Carry out regular inventory counting / targeted perpetual inventory (PI)
- Solve queries and error handling for all areas of the operation
- Perform on-going profiling optimisation of the detail and standard picking locations reducing standard picking from the detail pick area
- Maintain master data files within Manhattan for new and current material codes
- Investigate customer claims in a timely manner
- Process destructions aligned to procedure
- Support Customer Returns department
- Perform KPI Reporting
- Work on other ad hoc duties and tasks as directed by your line manager or Log Org Manager
- Cover supervisor absence
YOU HAVE
- Previous experience of the SAP/MAWM WM module is desirable
- Strong IT skills, especially Excel
- Excellent numeracy, written and verbal communication skills
- An analytical mindset, working with numbers, details, and logic are your strength
- Experience of working on projects or commitment to develop in this area
- A self-starting & proactive attitude, you are comfortable to lead and own your assigned tasks, and are able to work to deadlines
- Good organisational skills and the ability to constantly prioritise work
- Good understanding of the warehouse operation and quality processes
- The ability to problem solve and to demonstrate a logical approach to tasks
- A flexible approach to work tasks and working hours in order to meet the needs of the business, always with a positive and collaborative mindset
