Job description

Humdinger, Bromborough CH62 3RD

Humdinger is seeking an Engineering Scheduler & Stock Controller to join our Bromborough Nut Processing Factory. This vital role involves optimizing engineering maintenance, ensuring compliance, supporting ad-hoc projects, and managing an effective engineering stores system. The successful candidate will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and other key teams to ensure operational reliability and efficiency.

Position type: Permanent, full-time

Hours: 37.5 per week

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 0830 - 1630

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain maintenance plans to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency.
  2. Track the progress of engineering work and update schedules accordingly.
  3. Organize engineering documentation to create a comprehensive technical library.
  4. Manage and control engineering stores, ensuring adequate stock levels of asset parts.
  5. Report on maintenance spend versus budget and work completion versus schedule.
  6. Plan and organize site compliance work and inspections as directed by the Reliability and Compliance Manager.
  7. Apply strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  8. Communicate effectively and demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
  9. Show strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  10. Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  11. Possess a solid understanding of engineering principles.
  12. Work independently and collaboratively.
  13. Experience with Pirana or other CMMS systems.
  14. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  15. Knowledge of purchasing systems.
  16. Willingness and ability to learn new skills.
