Job summary

T&K Associates is seeking a Stock Controller for an on-going temporary role in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. You will carry out cycle counts, verify stock, and operate reach and picker trucks to access high storage areas.

Join a proactive warehouse team focused on accuracy, safety and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will hold an in-date VNA licence and preferably a Reach truck licence.

Qualifications

• Must have an in-date VNA Licence; Reach truck Licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cycle counts, perpetual inventory counts, and stock verification across the warehouse.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages, and inventory variances.
• Verify product locations, batch numbers, expiry dates, and stock accuracy in the WMS.
• Operate a Reach truck and order Picker Truck to access stock stored at height.
• Monitor warehouse location standards and identify misplaced or non-conforming stock.
• Manage SIN BIN, quarantine, scrap, and obsolete inventory per procedures.
• Support Kanban replenishment and external warehouse stock control activities.
• Produce accurate inventory reports and maintain stock control records.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Operations, Quality, and Production to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse performance.

T&K Associates have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join our Client in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a Temporary on-going basis with the potential of becoming permanent for the right candidate. We are looking for a proactive, hands-on individual who enjoys working in a warehouse environment.

Stock Controller Job details

• Monday-Thursday 7:15am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:15am - 12:15pm

Stock Controller Job Description

• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages, and inventory variances.
