Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a field-based Stock Condition Surveyor to conduct internal and external surveys across housing stock, recording condition, age and lifecycle of components. You will input data into asset management systems and help shape planned maintenance programmes.

The role supports forecasting future investment needs, producing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with HHSRS and housing standards. Travel across locations is expected with periodic hybrid/office working.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock condition surveying or property inspections.
• Knowledge of building construction and maintenance.
• Understanding of HHSRS and housing standards.
• Strong data collection and reporting skills.
• IT skills including Excel and asset management systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal and external condition surveys of housing stock.
• Record condition, age, and lifecycle of components.
• Input survey data into asset management systems (Keystone/Northgate/Orchard).
• Support development of planned maintenance programmes.
• Assist in forecasting future investment needs and lifecycle costs.
• Produce clear and accurate survey reports.
• Maintain audit trails and data accuracy.
• Provide technical advice to internal teams.
• Liaise with tenants, residents, and contractors during surveys.
