Job summary

Booker, the UK's leading food and drink wholesaler, is seeking a Stock and Administration Clerk to maintain accurate stock records across fresh, chilled, frozen and ambient ranges. You will support both the stock control and warehouse teams, ensuring paperwork is accurate and processes run smoothly.

The role requires strong data entry skills, good communication, and the ability to work with initiative. SH and safety compliance are part of daily duties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Impeccable communication skills are required.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Releasing Daily Pick - Data entry skills required.
• Manage product shelf life.
• Verification of stock including correct pack sizes, quantity, price, and best-before dates.
• Managing returns to suppliers/Depots.
• Promote good relations with external and internal suppliers.
• React to sales fluctuations and supply problems to minimise out-of-stock lines.
• Produce and monitor key performance indicators.
• Ensure correct balance of stock across all warehouse temperature zones.
• Escalate supplier issues to Stock Manager for prompt action.
• Manage slow-moving products and removals of delisted products.
