Job summary

Booker Group plc in Banbury is seeking a Stock Controller to join the Best Food Logistics team for a night shift. You will ensure stock accuracy across fresh, chilled, frozen and ambient ranges and support goods receipt and movement activities.

The role requires numeracy, basic IT skills and a collaborative, proactive approach. A forklift licence is advantageous and working within FMCG is preferred.

Qualifications

• Numerical skills required.
• Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
• Familiarity with Excel/Word/Outlook and internet.
• Strong prioritisation ability.
• Experience in FMCG environment preferred.
• Some stock control experience.
• Knowledge of logistics/store operations.
• Current FLT reach truck licence is advantageous.
• Educated to GCSE standard.

Responsibilities

• Repacking and relabelling of products.
• W/house layout changes and planning.
• Goods receipt query investigation and correction.
• Credit claim investigation.
• Product isolation and batch code checking.
• Dead stock consolidation for disposal/charity usage.
• Poor packaging reporting and data input.
• Outside storage receipt and pallet movement.
• General administration and other duties as needed.
