Job summary

Booker Group is recruiting a Stock and Administration Clerk to help maintain stock accuracy across fresh, chilled, frozen and ambient ranges. You will handle department administration and support the Warehouse team, ensuring records are accurate and communications clear.

The role requires strong data entry, good IT skills (MS Office), and attention to detail. You will work with Stock Manager and Senior Operations Clerks to monitor stock levels, reports, and stock takes.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for accurate stock recording and reporting.
• Strong data entry skills are required to maintain records and KPI data.
• Numerical skills help verify quantities, prices and stock levels.
• Ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision is important.
• Excellent communication skills are needed to coordinate with suppliers, managers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Releasing Daily Pick and data entry tasks.
• Manage product shelf life and stock verification (pack sizes, quantity, price, best-before).
• Handle returns to suppliers/depots and maintain good supplier relations.
• React to sales fluctuations and supply issues to minimise out-of-stock lines.
• Produce and monitor daily/weekly/period reports and KPI data.
• Ensure stock balance across all temperature zones in the warehouse.
