Job summary

Booker Group plc is seeking a Stock and Administration Clerk to join our team, ensuring stock accuracy across fresh, chilled, frozen, and ambient ranges. You will handle administration for the department and assist with operational tasks, plus support the Warehouse team as needed.

You will work with Senior Operations Clerks and the Stock Manager to ensure accurate paperwork and goods receipt. Strong communication, data entry, and MS Office skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Numerical skills are essential.
• Ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
• Experience in stock control and logistics operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Releasing Daily Pick - Data entry skills required.
• Manage product shelf life and stock accuracy.
• Verify stock details: pack sizes, quantities, prices and best-before dates.
• Handle returns to suppliers/depots and maintain supplier relationships.
• Produce and monitor key performance indicators and stock reports.
• Support the Stock Manager with daily paperwork and warehouse communications.
