Job summary

STILL Materials Handling Ltd in the Derby area is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team. You will diagnose, fault-find and rectify faults on STILL forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites, undertaking preventative maintenance to ensure uptime and safety.

The role requires mechanical or electrical experience, plus IT literacy and a full UK driving licence. We offer world-class product training, a company van with fuel card (private use option), a 39.5-hour

• Experience in mechanical or electrical field service roles preferred.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) desirable.
• IT literate and able to use modern tech to record and place orders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault-find and rectify faults on STILL forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites.
• Undertake preventative maintenance and service visits.
• Travel to customer sites within the Derby area and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism.

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Derby area. We are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers who have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician or a similar type of role. Experience within plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners may make this role perfect for you! Working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on STILL forklifts and other material handling equipment at our customer sites

Tasks and Qualifications:

Who are we looking for?

To be considered for this role, you will need experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Mechanical engineering
• Electrical engineering
• Hydraulics

• Ideally you will have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, although this is not essential.
• You will need to be IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders.
• You must hold a full UK driving licence.
