A cultural heritage organization in Scotland seeks a Seasonal Steward to welcome visitors and enhance their experience. The role is part-year permanent, offering a starting salary of £25,770 pro-rata with flexible working hours. Your role of steward will be a fixed term seasonal position up until 30 Sept 2026. The likely start date for this role is 1 April 2026. Are you looking for a flexible seasonal job that is both fun and unique? You'll get an insight into Scotland's rich history and gain valuable experience in the tourism industry and help bring Scotland's dramatic history to life for our visitors from across the world.
You work with colleagues to prepare the site and welcome visitors. Assisting visitors with information, entry tickets and products, you make sure they have the best possible experience. You engage with visitors in the House, encouraging them to discover the rich history of this unique site.
Duff House is a unique site in the Historic Scotland estate, a country house gallery that displays an important art collection from National Galleries of Scotland. The house is a vital asset for the local community. You have the opportunity to strengthen its local profile and its contribution to culture and leisure in the area.
