Working from the Broadgreen Hospital site, the role of a sterile services technician involves working as part of a dedicated team providing a critical decontamination service to Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The hours for this permanent role are a weekly alternating shift pattern: 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm, Monday to Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week with enhancements.
The job requires working according to strict policies and procedures, meeting regulatory and international standards ISO13485.
Experience in a highly regulated, quality-controlled, or military-disciplined environment would be advantageous. Working to strict procedures and deadlines is essential at all times. Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust enforces a strict no-smoking policy.
A good standard of English literacy and numeracy (Grade C or above) is required.
