Job summary

Nuffield Health Eastleigh HSSU Hub is seeking a Driver to support our Hospital Sterile Services Unit. You will collect and deliver by van or 7.5T vehicle, check incoming deliveries and keep equipment in good order.

Shifts run from 3am to 10pm, Monday to Friday, with some Saturday variation. A C1 entitlement is required; a tachograph card is preferred. You will be a friendly ambassador for our customers and patients.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full driving licence with C1 entitlement to drive up to 7.5 tonnes.
• Tachograph card is preferred for this role.
• Good manual handling ability is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver by van or car to customers.
• Receive and check deliveries of medical devices from customers.
• Report faults and keep equipment in good order.
• Maintain accurate tachograph records and documentation.
• Keep a clean, tidy work environment and identify stock issues.
