Job summary

Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting for a 7.5T Driver to join our client in the healthcare sector. You will be delivering and collecting medical devices between a decontamination facility and hospital sites, following scheduled routes and times.

Rotating 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with one weekend in four and a permanent full-time contract. A valid 7.5T licence, CPC and tachograph card, and good customer service skills are required to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5T driving licence required.
• Valid CPC and tachograph card required.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent timekeeping and road safety mindset.
• Knowledge of local roads is advantageous.
• Previous driving or delivery experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver and collect medical devices according to routes and times.
• Provide professional, friendly customer service at hospital sites.
• Complete vehicle safety checks and report issues.
• Maintain delivery records and required documentation.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including confidentiality.
• Report incidents promptly and support a safe work environment.
