Job Title: Process Technician

Location: Nuffield Health Wetherby | HSSU Hub | Permanent | Full time

Salary: £23,419.50 Per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Job Description:

If you’re enthusiastic, motivated, and have previous experience in a sterile services environment, this is an exciting opportunity to join the UK’s largest Healthcare Charity. Ensuring the supply of sterile and disinfected medical devices that meet our customers’ needs is vital. It starts with you.

This role is not based in a laboratory/testing facility.

As a Process Technician at our Wetherby HSSU Hub, you should have a basic standard of general education with proven literacy and numeracy skills. Organization and good communication skills are essential, and ideally, you will have sterile services training.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working order
  • Regularly check medical equipment for damage and report faults
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
  • Take action to resolve problems
  • Escalate issues when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation following policies and procedures
