Job summary

Circle Health Group's Shelburne Hospital in High Wycombe is seeking a Sterile Services Technician to join the Decontamination department. This is a full-time, permanent role offering 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern.

You will provide decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilisation and delivery of medical equipment to operating theatres and clinical departments, while maintaining safety standards and fostering strong cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class decontamination service to operating theatres and clinical departments.
• Assist in decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilisation and delivery of equipment.
• Maintain good relationships with customers and promote Health & Safety within the department.
• Ensure equipment is maintained to safety standards and report faults to Team Leader/Manager.
• Assist Team Leaders in liaising with departments to ensure item supply is maintained.
• Maintain Health & Safety requirements for staff and visitors.
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training.
