Circle Health Group’s Shelburne Hospital in High Wycombe is hiring a Sterile Services Technician to join the Decontamination department. This full-time role is 37.5 hours per week with a permanent contract, offering a salary of up to £25,200 per year, depending on experience, training and qualification.

You will provide first-class decontamination services to Operating Theatres and related departments, assist in sterilisation processes, maintain safety standards, and support supply of sterile

• Hepatitis B Immunisation is required for this job role.

Responsibilities

• You provide a first-class decontamination sterile service to the Operating Theatres, clinical departments and relevant paramedical departments.
• You assist in the provision of decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilisation and delivery of medical and surgical equipment and sundry items to/for the customer.
• You maintain good working relationships with all customers.
• You promote and maintain Health & Safety within the department.
• You ensure all equipment is maintained to the required standard of safety, reporting any faults to Team leader/Manager.
• You assist the Team Leaders in liaising with departments to ensure supply of items is maintained.
• You maintain the accepted Health & Safety requirements for the protection of staff and visitors.
• You comply with all relevant mandatory training.
