Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a Sterile Services Technician for the Decontamination department in Aylesford. The role is full time (37.5 hours per week) with a rotating shift pattern across days and nights, and a salary up to £27,805.42 per year depending on experience and qualifications.

Circle Health Group Decontamination provides sterile equipment and instrumentation for surgeries across England and Glasgow, operating 24/7.

Qualifications

• Hepatitis B Immunisation is required for this job role.
• Previous experience in working within a decontamination centre or operating theatre department

Responsibilities

• You provide a first-class decontamination sterile service to the Operating Theatres, clinical departments and relevant paramedical departments.
• You assist in the provision of decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilisation and delivery of medical and surgical equipment and sundry items to/for the customer.
• You maintain good working relationships with all customers.
• You promote and maintain Health & Safety within the department.
• You ensure all equipment is maintained to the required standard of safety, reporting any faults to Team leader/Manager.
• You assist the Team Leaders in liaising with departments to ensure supply of items is maintained.
• You maintain the accepted Health & Safety requirements for the protection of staff and visitors.
• You comply with all relevant mandatory training.
