Cheshire East Council is seeking a Step-Forward Foster Carer to welcome a child or siblings into your family, offering stability and a nurturing home. You will be supported by social workers, therapists and a local fostering team, with specialist training and 24/7 wraparound support.

The role provides a £52,000 per annum salary (£1,000 per week) plus retainer, allowances for holidays and special occasions, and a pathway to ongoing professional development through Foster4 recruitment.

Formación

• Applicants must be 21 or over.
• Have the legal Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
• Able to provide full-time care for a child or children in their home.
• Have a spare bedroom or bedrooms suitable for fostering.
• Experience supporting children, young people or adults with complex needs is preferable.

Responsabilidades

• Full-time care for a child or sibling group moving from residential care.
• Provide stability, routine and reassurance within a nurturing home.
• Support the child’s emotional, behavioural and social development.
• Work closely with social workers, therapists and other professionals.
• Keep clear records and provide therapeutic, relationship-based care.
