Job summary

Everyturn Mental Health in Wirral is seeking a Part-time Step 4 High Intensity Therapist to support the Talking Therapies Service and clients with complex trauma and co-morbid mental health needs.

The role involves delivering evidence-based therapies (CBT, EMDR, DBT, ACT), conducting assessments, formulating treatment plans, and working within a multidisciplinary team. Hybrid working and 22.5 hours per week are offered.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate Diploma (Level 7) in CBT or another recognised evidence-based psychological therapy modality.
• Accredited with BABCP or BPS, or willing to achieve accreditation within your first 12 months.
• Experience in Step 4 and/or Talking Therapies services, with a strong understanding of the stepped care model.
• Experience supporting clients with complex trauma and co-morbidities.
• Strong assessment, formulation and risk management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct clinical interventions to clients with complex psychological difficulties (approx. 60% of time).
• Undertake comprehensive assessments and formulate/deliver treatment plans.
• Manage clinical risk and make decisions on appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with clients, carers and professional partners to support recovery.
• Contribute to service development, group facilitation and supervision as appropriate.
