Brookthorpe Hall School is seeking an inspiring STEM Lead to own the STEM provision, shape an ambitious curriculum and support colleagues across the school. You will remain connected to the classroom while driving standards and developing opportunities for students with SEMH needs.

You will lead curriculum development, deliver high-quality STEM lessons, and use assessment data to raise outcomes, while collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to achieve the best possible student results.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Level 2 English and Maths.
• Experience teaching within a STEM-related subject area.
• Strong subject knowledge and high-quality classroom practice.
• Leadership in curriculum development and school improvement.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop STEM provision across Brookthorpe Hall School, shaping an ambitious and engaging curriculum.
• Deliver high-quality STEM lessons that inspire curiosity and participation.
• Drive student progress using assessment and data to identify priorities.
• Coach and mentor colleagues to share best practice.
• Monitor teaching quality in STEM and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Create learning experiences that encourage creativity and problem solving.
• Contribute to whole-school improvement planning and the One Team approach.
