Job summary

The Queen Elizabeth Academy in Atherstone is seeking a creative and organised Technician to support science, food and STEM departments. You will work with class teachers to provide resources, learning and technical support tailored to each department’s needs.

We expect a good GCSE baseline (English/Maths included) and an awareness of health and safety regulations for practical subjects. The role requires calmness under pressure and a proactive team approach.

Qualifications

• Creative and organised technician with the ability to support across science, food and STEM departments.
• Good GCSE level 4/C+ including English and Maths.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations in practical school subjects.
• Ability to keep calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support with resources, learning and technical support to meet department needs in partnership with teachers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and security measures at all times and assist with practical activities.
