Job summary

The Queen Elizabeth Academy are looking to appoint a creative and organised Technician to work across our science, food and STEM departments, who has a real drive to enhance pupils’ experience of secondary education. The successful candidate will work in partnership with class teachers to support with resources, learning and technical support to meet the needs of the each department.

Qualifications

• GCSE level 4/C+ including English and Maths.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations relating to practical subjects in schools.
• Ability to keep calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support with resources, learning and technical support to meet the needs of the science, food and STEM departments.
• Work in partnership with class teachers to support with practical activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and security measures at all times.
