Job summary

IQVIA Cambridge is seeking a Technical Specialist to apply lab-based stem cell culture expertise in line with client projects and deadlines. The role requires a track record in culturing hES and iPS cells and delivering high-quality results in industry settings.

The successful candidate will culture and differentiate stem cells (2D/3D), troubleshoot assays, and ensure accurate reporting of work while collaborating with project teams to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• MSc or higher in Biological Sciences with stem cell focus.
• Experience isolating and culturing primary cells and recombinant cell lines for HTS.
• Extensive hands-on experience with culture and differentiation of hES and iPS cells; aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Culture and differentiate hES and iPS cells for project needs.
• Isolate and culture primary cells and recombinant lines for HTS.
• Troubleshoot assays using current knowledge and best practices.
• Apply stem cell culture methods across 2D/3D systems.
• Independently perform and optimize stem cell differentiation with minimal supervision.
• Meet deliverables and manage workload for the team.
• Adhere to lab safety policies and propose improvements where appropriate.
• Report billable time accurately and be aware of financial impact.
