Job summary

One Way is recruiting experienced Steel Fixers for a major infrastructure project in Kettleton, UK. The role involves reading reinforcement drawings, cutting, bending, and fixing steel reinforcement, assembling cages, and ensuring work meets specifications before pouring concrete.

You'll join a skilled team on a large civil engineering site, with safety as a priority and site drug and alcohol testing procedures in place.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings.
• Proven ability to cut, bend and fix steel reinforcement accurately.
• Experience assembling reinforcement cages on large civil works.

Job description

We are currently recruiting experienced Steel Fixers to join a major infrastructure project in Kettleton. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings, cutting, bending, and fixing steel reinforcement, assembling reinforcement cages, and ensuring all work is completed accurately and to specification before concrete pours. You'll be working as part of a team on a large civil engineering project while maintaining high standards of quality, health, and safety. Applicants must hold a valid CSCS Skilled Worker Card and have previous experience working on large infrastructure or civil engineering projects. A Safety Critical Medical is essential, and candidates must be willing to comply with site drug and alcohol testing and all site safety procedures.
