A leading construction firm specialising in the Nuclear and Defence industry is seeking an experienced Steel Erector/Rigger for a contract role in Fawley. This position involves offloading wagons, fixing and bolting steel, marking out steel work, and adhering to Health and Safety procedures on site.

This job is ideal for a skilled Steel Erector/Rigger with a minimum of CSCS Blue skilled, IPAF, and CCNSG certifications. The candidate should have a rigger qualification and be experienced in operating construction equipment, following safety protocols, and performing site clean-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Offload wagons in a safe manner
• Fix and bolt steel
• Mark out steel work and draw holes
• Cut steel where required
• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures on site
• Follow all instructions from Management
• Operate construction equipment and machinery
• Prepare construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards
• Load or unload construction materials
• Assemble and dismantle temporary structures
• Perform site clean-up

Compensation is based on NAECI Blue Book rates, with a lodge stipend of £12 per week and overtime opportunities.
