Job Description
Job Title: Mechanical Fitter / Rigger
Location: Cruachan, Scotland (Accommodation provided)
Pay Rate: Base £22.20
Hours: Up to 60 hours per week, 6 days
Overtime: £28.86 (T1.3x) paid after 38 hours per week
Our client is a globally renowned engineering company specialising in industrial and power projects, providing innovative and sustainable solutions for energy production, environmental management, and industrial manufacturing. This project involves maintenance, assembly, and installation of critical components for MIV (Main Inlet Valve), turbines, and generators. As a Mechanical Fitter/Rigger, you will perform mechanical duties and support rigging operations using certified techniques, playing a key role in maintaining safety and efficiency on site.
You are a self-motivated and skilled mechanical fitter with strong rigging experience, qualified to ECITB Level 2 or Level 3 standards. You have practical knowledge of using mechanical tools such as hydraulic tensioners, torque tools, and abrasive wheels. Comfortable working with technical drawings and operating in safety-critical environments, you will contribute to lifting operations and machinery installation with care and precision. Your understanding of UK safety regulations ensures effective teamwork and high safety standards on site.
