Job summary

Construction Recruitment Services Ltd seeks steel erectors for the North Converter Station project in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire. You will erect structural steel including columns, beams, trusses, bracing, purlins and access steelwork with a focus on teamwork and safety.

Required certificates include CSCS (Skilled/Blue/Gold), IPAF or CPCS, Working at Heights, Manual Handling, and Harness Awareness. A full set of erecting hand tools is essential. CVs and proof of UK eligibility must be provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold CSCS card (Skilled, Blue or Gold).
• IPAF (3a, 3b) or CPCS (Mewps).
• Working at Heights Certificate (online option).
• Manual Handling Certificate (online option).
• Harness Awareness (online option).
• Full set of erecting hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Erecting structural steel: columns, beams, trusses, bracing, purlins and access steelwork.
• Work in a team on site with good communication.
• Contribute to safe, efficient multi-cultural workforce on site.
