Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install and fit steel staircases, balustrades and handrails on site.
• Follow technical drawings and specifications from site supervisor.
• Ensure bolted connections are aligned, tightened and secure.
• Maintain high site safety standards and report issues.

Steel Erector/Fitter

Glasgow ongoing contract

We are currently recruiting an experienced Steel Erector to join a major commercial project in Glasgow.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of steel staircases, balustrades, handrails and associated architectural metalwork, working from technical drawings and supporting all aspects of steel erection on site.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience fitting staircases, balustrades and handrails
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience using hand and power tools for installation work
• Skilled in aligning, fitting and tightening bolted connections
• CSCS Card essential
• Strong site safety awareness
• Experience working on large commercial construction projects
