Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our busy Financial Accounts Team. The role focuses on statutory reporting, external audit and technical accounting to support accurate year-end financial reporting.

You will work with the Financial Accounts Team Leader and stakeholders to ensure compliance, timely delivery of accounts, and continuous improvements across reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Experience within financial accounting and financial reporting.
• Understanding of accounting standards and financial controls; FRS 102 desirable.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with annual financial statements and related reporting.
• Coordinate external audit process and manage information requests.
• Provide technical accounting support and review accounting treatments.
• Support balance sheet reconciliations, year-end journals, and controls.
• Collaborate with finance teams, auditors and stakeholders to improve reporting.
