Warwickshire County Council is seeking a lead for the Compliance & Risk Team to deliver statutory fire safety, water hygiene, asbestos, gas, electrical and lifting-equipment compliance across the corporate estate and traded customer portfolio.

You will manage a team of compliance professionals and surveyors, oversee budgets, and develop traded compliance services while working with senior stakeholders to drive service improvement and meet statutory obligations.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualification in property, construction, building services, compliance, health & safety or fire safety.
• Experience delivering statutory compliance services in large, complex estates.
• Experience managing operational teams, contractors and delivery partners.
• Budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead the operational delivery of statutory compliance services across the corporate estate and traded customer portfolio.
• Lead and manage a team of compliance professionals and specialist surveyors.
• Oversee key compliance programmes to ensure safety, efficiency and compliance with legal and corporate requirements.
• Manage compliance frameworks, contractors and consultants across fire safety, asbestos, water hygiene and other disciplines.
• Support governance, continuous improvement and performance monitoring across compliance activities.
• Oversee compliance systems and monitor performance, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Manage relationships with customers and stakeholders to drive service improvements.
