Job summary

East West Railway Company in Milton Keynes is seeking an engineering expert to lead technical design and delivery for stations and associated buildings. You will promote placemaking and design quality while ensuring operational, commercial and customer requirements are met.

You will integrate architecture with civils, rail systems and construction planning, providing technical guidance, mentoring others and upholding health and safety standards across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• A background in engineering and placemaking on infrastructure projects, e.g., station buildings, civils, structures.
• Expertise in one or more engineering disciplines with deep understanding of standards and industry practices.
• Ability to solve problems and develop innovative technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Building & Stations Architecture in ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 duties.
• Provide technical guidance across engineering disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee planning, execution and monitoring of engineering work to meet quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless integration across disciplines.
• Mentor engineers and promote a culture of continuous learning and safety.
