Avanti West Coast is seeking a Team Leader to support the Station Manager at Coventry within a Talent Bank covering Platform, Retail and Multifunctional roles. The position emphasizes leading teams, safety, and exceptional customer service across shifts.

The role involves close collaboration with the Station Manager, coordinating resources, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of operation across the network, including weekends and varying duties.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a customer-facing or operational environment.
• Ability to coordinate resources and supervise staff during shifts.
• Strong commitment to safety, service delivery and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and efficiency on station platforms and through checks, inspections and audits.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, especially during disruptions or service changes.
• Support the Station Manager with daily HR issues, contractor coordination and premises management.
• Train despatch procedures and ensure correct and safe train dispatch to prevent delays.
