Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Static Site Electrical Supervisor in London to lead mechanical maintenance and project activities on a key site. You will oversee operatives, manage delivery, and ensure safe, efficient work to high standards.

The role requires strong supervision, CDM compliance, and a proactive approach to planning and stakeholder management, with a permanent full-time contract and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• IOSH/NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification (or equivalent) is required.
• SMSTS certificate is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site operatives and contractors, ensuring safety, compliance, and quality.
• Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks; ensure risk assessments and method statements are followed.
• Monitor project progress, milestones, shutdowns, and maintenance schedules; keep stakeholders informed.
• Manage materials, resources and subcontractor activities to meet technical specs and cost controls.
• Support preventive/predictive maintenance and reactive tasks; participate in first escalation call-out rota.

Youll oversee site operatives, manage project delivery, and ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise site operatives and contractors, ensuring all work is completed safely, compliantly, and to agreed quality standards.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements are in place and followed.
• Monitor project progress, milestones, shutdown activities, and maintenance schedules while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Manage materials, resources, and subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications and cost controls.
• Support PPM and reactive maintenance delivery, maintain accurate records, and participate in the first escalation call-out rota.

Required Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
• Hold, or be willing to obtain, an SMSTS certificate.
