Job summary

Apleona Hsg S.P.A. in Birmingham is seeking a Static Multiskilled Engineer with electrical and/or mechanical knowledge to perform planned maintenance, reactive fault finding and repairs across core building services under a UK-wide FM contract.

You will carry out PM tasks, diagnose faults, coordinate subcontractors, record activities in CAFM, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. The role requires flexibility for out-of-hours callouts when needed.

Qualifications

• Formal electrical qualification.
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulation.
• Level 2 & 3 formal Mechanical or plumbing qualification.
• Experience in a Facilities Management role.
• Knowledge of BMS Systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across building systems and assets.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to a high technical standard.
• Oversee and coordinate subcontractors on site, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with contract requirements.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records within the CAFM system, including job updates, asset information, and compliance documentation.
• Keep all site logbooks, statutory records, and technical documentation fully updated and audit-ready.
