Job summary

Unify in Central London is seeking a Static Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical & AC) to maintain a single healthcare site, ensuring electrical and air conditioning systems are compliant and reliable. You will perform PPM and reactive works, document compliance, and work in a safety-first environment on a live healthcare site in Paddington area.

The role requires City & Guilds / NVQ Level in Electrical Installation, 18th Edition, and FGAS, with DBS clearance, and occasional travel to nearby

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level in Electrical Installation (including 18th Edition Wiring Regulations) and FGAS.
• Healthcare environment experience (hospitals or clinical spaces) preferred.
• Enhanced DBS check required or willingness to obtain one.
• Mobility to travel to Paddington area.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on electrical and air conditioning systems.
• Maintain HVAC, split systems, VRVs/VRFs, and general low-voltage electrical systems.
• Work with site compliance guidelines to minimize disruption to live healthcare operations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently.
• Complete compliance documentation, logbooks, and worksheets accurately.
• Maintain a professional, safety-first approach in a sensitive healthcare setting.

Job Purpose

Working on a single, static healthcare site in Central London, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing seamless electrical and air conditioning (AC) maintenance, fault-finding, and general building services upkeep. Working within a critical healthcare environment, you will ensure all assets are fully compliant, operational, and maintained to the highest regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on electrical and air conditioning systems.
• Maintain HVAC, split systems, VRVs/VRFs, and general low-voltage electrical systems.
• Work closely with site compliance guidelines, ensuring minimal disruption to live healthcare operations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently.
• Complete all compliance documentation, logbooks, and worksheets accurately.
• Maintain a professional, safety-first approach suited to a sensitive healthcare/hospital setting.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Core Qualifications: City & Guilds / NVQ Level in Electrical Installation (including 18th Edition Wiring Regulations) and Category 1 F-Gas (FGAS).
• Sector Experience: Previous experience working within healthcare environments (ideally hospitals or clinical spaces) is highly desirable.
• Security Clearance: Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS check or able to attain one (or be willing to undergo processing immediately).
• Mobility: Open to both drivers and foot-mobile candidates who possess the required multi-skilled background and can travel effectively to the Paddington area.

Package & Benefits
