Job summary

Pareto Facilities Management Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our on-site team at Norton Folgate, London. The role is static, based at one client site, with responsibilities across HVAC plant, AHUs, FCUs and pumps, delivering planned and reactive maintenance.

You will monitor the Building Management System, coordinate with subcontractors and client teams, and uphold safety and compliance across all works.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining mechanical building services in commercial/FM environments.
• Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications.
• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems including AHUs/FCUs/pumps.
• ACOP L8 awareness and water hygiene understanding.
• Ability to investigate faults and resolve maintenance issues.
• Professional, customer‑facing approach and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across mechanical building services.
• Maintain, service and fault-find HVAC equipment (AHUs/FCUs/pumps).
• Monitor and support Building Management System operations.
• Support subcontractors and coordinate with client teams.
• Ensure safety, compliance and tidy plant rooms.
